The Chinese Varsity Club at the University of British Columbia started in 1930 as a small group of Asian students who liked to get together to play sports and promote fellowship between the Asian student population. Today, it has grown and evolved to become a club that is open to all ethnicities and cultures, stressing the multicultural makeup of Vancouver. We are the single largest club on campus with over 1200 members, led by 70 executive team members. As a campus social club, we hold two to four small and large scale events per month, from athletic tournaments, talent shows, all the way to dances that house over 1200 people. Our events are for students not only at UBC but across Greater Vancouver. The Chinese Varsity Club is a not-for-profit organization that serves to enrich studentsʼ university experiences.

There are many departments in CVC, all devote to providing different activities, events, and opportunities for members!
